Mass Media: Internet

Internet is a worldwide network that provides a wide variety of information and entertainment to everyone who has an access. It is the most recent form of mass media which enables the users to research, communicate, and get messages. There is no specific audience because anyone who has an electronic device that connects to internet can join this network. Although internet is considered one type of mass media, it consists of all other mass media such as magazine, newspaper, radio, TV, music, books, and film. There are certain websites that provide daily news and headlines, and some other types of mass media are available as downloadable file format. Because internet is ubiquitous and has plentiful sources, all the users are able to obtain something that they want to know or desire at any time. However, the reliability and credibility of sources are not guaranteed.
